Welcome to the Artisan section of our website.  You can find all the latest information you need to help you succeed.  You can get an update on store activities and business tips in our monthly newsletter.  Check "the latest" for updates on new promotions and events.

Sales Reporter Update.....

We are pleased to announce that the Sales Reporter now seems to be up and running smoothly.  We have moved the Wireless System to the front desk to make the connection more accessible from the sales counter to the Website.  Please do not use the plugs at the front counter, for any purpose, no matter how minor, as they service both computers and the Wireless.

Artisans, Please note ......  We have instituted a "no food" at the front counter policy.  Please eat before coming on your shift.  If you must eat while here, please do so at the crafter's table in the back.  Also, after eating, discard your wrappers and drink containers in the garbage pail provided in the parking lot.  Hope all of you read the insert with last month's sales report regarding floor time schedule and your responsibilities.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Charge Card Machine

Are your doing shows and finding that you could sell more if you were able to have your customers charge their purchases?  The solution is here.  We have the facility to allow you to borrow our "knuckle buster" charge card embosser and offer VISA, MC, Discover and American Express to your boutique customers.  Please contact Elaine for the particulars.

Vendor Floor time Duties

Floor time requirement returns to 4 hours per month starting in January.

During the year, we can use the cooperation of all vendors.  When doing your floor time, please circulate throughout the store.  We ask that you not stay behind the checkout counter unless working as a gift wrapper; but rather greet customers, and help them to shop.    Your active presence in the store helps all of us.

Your floor time assistance is important to us and last minute cancellations cannot be filled easily, leaving us without vendor help on many occasions.  Cancellations less than 48 hours, except in cases of emergency, will be charged for the time lost.

Floor time is not to be used for pricing your merchandise.  Please use the craft table in the back of the store for this purpose before or after you come on floor time duty.

Price Tags

Please check over the format of your price tags.  With new employees on board and the holidays just around the corner, it is important that the tags be clearly marked.

Please break down any boxes you have before putting them into the recycling bin.

Parking.  When doing your floor time, we ask that you park across the street in the clock tower parking lot.  The town has recently extend the time limit to 3 hours.
